Zoom Host
Zoom Host is the “owner” of a meeting or webinar and is the person who can administer the meeting via the host controls .
Overview
A Zoom host is someone who organizes and manages Zoom meetings or webinars. They have administrative control over the session, including the ability to schedule meetings, invite participants, manage attendees' permissions, and facilitate discussions. The host is the only person who can end a meeting or make someone else the host.

Best Practices
- During the Zoom meeting, the host controls all security settings and meeting tools. For more information visit the Zoom Security and Zoom Navigation KB pages.
- It is recommended to use the Blackboard Zoom tool when scheduling class sessions as Zoom meetings.
