What are Zoom Rooms?
Zoom Rooms provide an alternative to the Zoom Meetings experience that we are all so familiar with. While the interface and controls will look and feel very familiar, the ease with which the connection can be established couldn't be more different. No more than 3 button pushes will start your Zoom connection without the need to adjust settings for your cameras, microphones, or speakers. No more need for links, accessing your email, or struggling through source selections. Everything is highly integrated and customized to provide the best possible user experience.
Who can use Zoom Rooms?
Zoom Rooms are available in all of our general-purpose classrooms and can be used by anybody utilizing the equipment in the room and connecting to or hosting a Zoom meeting. While a Zoom meeting can be started ad hoc using Zoom Rooms, the equipment is most powerful if the connection is scheduled beforehand and includes the Zoom Room as a host in your meeting.
