Core vs Distance Classrooms
Distance classrooms are fully equipped classroom spaces that allow for a full video conference experience with audience microphones and room cameras. Core classrooms are spaces designed for in-person instruction with the option for lecture capture, but without the additional equipment needed in a full videoconference connection. *SCALE-UP Displays: Multi-projectors that display one content source. Multi-displays, one for each student table, have the capability to display a second content source for the instructor or by students doing group work. Each student table is equipped with three laptop connections to the shared display.
Computer Labs
Reservable Computer Labs, BYOD Hybrid Computer Labs, and Open Computer Labs, which are accessible on a first-come, first-served basis, are maintained by central campus resources.
Reservable BYOD Hybrid Computer Lab:This lab features a limited number of desktop computers and multiple Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) stations equipped with power outlets, allowing students to use their own laptops in a flexible, technology-supported environment.
