Connect Your Laptop and Other Mobile Devices

How to print on campus using your personal laptop and other devices.

Overview

Students, faculty, and staff can print from personal laptops, desktops, and Apple or Android mobile devices to many public printers on campus using the PaperCut print release system.

To print, send your document through PaperCut, then release it at any print release station by swiping your NDSU ID Card.

There are two main ways to send print jobs using PaperCut:

  • PaperCut Mobile Print: This is a convenient option for printing from smartphones, tablets, or devices (Windows or Mac) where the print client isn't installed.  This will install a local based printer on your system in which you can choose some basic functions of printing.

  • PaperCut Web Print: A browser-based tool that lets you upload and print supported documents directly through a web portal. This is ideal for users printing from personal laptops or devices without installing printer drivers.

Follow the instructions below to send print jobs from your laptop or mobile device using the PaperCut service.
