Printing

  • From your NDSU computer, open the application (e.g., MS Word) and the particular file you would like to print.
  • Initiate printing as you normally would (e.g., File > Print).
  • In the list of printers is a new option called “NDSU Departmental Printing . . . “, select this as your printer.

  • If you do not see “NDSU Departmental Printing . . . “ in the list of printers:
    • Check in the corner section of your computer screen, where you probably see a line of small icons (often near time/date).  If you see the PaperCut icon below, please contact Print and Copy Services (phone: 701-231-5000) to ensure you and/or your department have been set up properly in the system

    • If you do not see the icon above, please contact the group that manages your computer, such as the IT Service Center, Ag. IT, Engineering IT, etc., to confirm the PaperCut software has been properly installed on your computer.  If you support your own computer, please see the Installing PaperCut knowledge base article.

Select the funding you would like your print job(s) to charge to. Collect your job when it has completed printing.

If no jobs are showing in the queue, ensure that you are printing to the "NDSU Departmental Printing" option from your computer. If you do not see that option, contact the IT Service Center for assistance.
