Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals
Getting Started
Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals is a suite of cloud-based collaboration and productivity tools that supports teaching, learning, and communication. Tools such as Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Classroom enable users to create content, collaborate in real time, manage coursework, and securely store and share files.

Storage Quotas
Individual Google Drive accounts have a storage quota of 100 GB, while Google Shared Drives have a storage quota of 5 GB. Due to current limitations with Google’s available administrative tools, the IT Division is unable to increase Google Drive storage quotas at this time. Storage options may be reevaluated in the future. For additional storage needs, consider using Central File Services or OneDrive. Review the applicable KB articles to determine which storage solution meets your data storage and compliance requirements.
