Creating Accessible PDFs in Adobe Pro

About this session.

Session Overview  

This workshop introduces essential techniques for creating accessible PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Users will need to have an Adobe Pro license to follow along with this workshop.  If you do not have your own license, you can use NDSU's Virtual Open LabPlease make sure you are logged into the open lab and are ready to go before the workshop starts.

Students, Faculty, and Staff

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 

  •  Run the Accessibility Checker in Adobe Acrobat Pro 

  • Apply basic remediation steps to improve PDF accessibility 

  • Identify when a PDF should be remediated versus recreated in the source document
