Participants will develop comprehensive skills to identify, resolve, and prevent common formatting issues in Microsoft Word documents such as thesis and dissertations by using the template.

• Apply and manage NDSU Word styles effectively.
• Insert and manage figures, tables, and equations with proper formatting.
• Update automatic Tables of Contents, Lists of Figures, and Lists of Tables.
• Work with landscape-oriented pages and complex multi-page items without breaking document structure.
• Add and manage references efficiently.
