This session will introduce participants to tools in Blackboard Ultra courses that enhance student engagement and foster collaborative learning. Focusing on features such as Class Conversations, Discussions, Journals, and Peer Review Assignments, we will guide you through creating dynamic learning experiences.

Learning Goal

By the end of this session, participants will be able to utilize Blackboard Ultra features to engage students. Some of these features include discussions and peer review assignments. 

Learning Objectives 

  • Describe the key features of Blackboard Ultra that facilitate student engagement, including Class Conversations, Discussions, Journals, and Peer Review Assignments. 
  • Demonstrate how to create a Discussion Forum, Journal, and Peer Review Assignment, customizing settings and applying rubrics for grading student participation. 
  • Review analytics for Discussions, Journals, and Peer Review Assignments
