Zoom Webinars
Overview
Zoom Webinars are a different way to host events for large audiences using the familiar Zoom interface. Webinars allow for presenter without NDSU credentials to join meetings and present to larger audiences than possible in a regular Zoom meeting. Webinar security settings allow for public advertising of the connection information without worry about Zoombombing.
Getting Started
Any NDSU user can request to have a Zoom Webinar license added to their NDSU Zoom user account. Please contact Wendy McCrory (wendy.mccrory@ndsu.edu) to receive a quote and request your license. Otherwise, Zoom Webinars can also be scheduled using NDSU's existing Zoom Webinar licenses. Please contact either Daniel Erichsen (daniel.erichsen@ndsu.edu) or Wendy McCrory (wendy.mccrory@ndsu.edu) to start the scheduling process and receive your meeting information. Please click here for more information on the scheduling process.
Best Practices
Zoom Webinars should be used when large audiences need to be reached in a secure meeting environment with little interaction coming from the audience to the presenters.

Use Cases
Zoom Webinars are best used when large audiences need to be reached in a safe and secure environment. Meeting information can be shared widely with your intended target audience without the same concerns for Zoombombing you would see in Zoom Meetings.
Universal Design/Accessibility
Zoom Webinars allow for closed captioning in multiple languages.
