Zoom Recordings

Zoom Recordings allow for easy capture of your Zoom meetings and can be stored easily on your computer or in the cloud.

Overview

Zoom Recordings are easy to use and versatile. Recordings can be scheduled to start automatically for your meeting or class or get started manually in your call. Recordings can be saved on your local computer or in the cloud for easy sharing and access by a wide range of users. Zoom Recordings include transcriptions and easy editing as well as AI tools to create chapters and easily searchable content.

Getting Started

Zoom Recordings are included with your NDSU Zoom license and can be accessed inside your meetings or by accessing your Zoom account at https://ndsu.zoom.us

Best Practices

Schedule Zoom Recordings to start automatically for all your recurring class meetings so you never miss a recording. Make sure to stop your recording or mute your microphone when your meeting is over so private conversations do not get capture accidentally on your recording. Share all your class recordings automatically with your students by scheduling your Zoom connection directly in your Blackboard class and add an automatic recording to the connection.
