LAIC is now the "Instructional Design Center"

Our Learning and Applied Innovation Center (LAIC) has been renamed to the Instructional Design Center (IDC), so that we can better communicate to our faculty about the instructional design services we provide to the campus. The Instructional Design Center will continue to be located on the first floor of the Quentin Burdick Building (QBB), but in new offices QBB 150G. Our computer lab with media software will now be part of the 24-hour computer lab. Physical signs and web references are in process of being updated as well.

Attention all Respondus 4.0 Users

If you have Respondus 4.0 installed on your Windows computer, you MUST update the installation password to continue using the software after July 31, 2024:

1. Open the NDSU – Software Downloads page (log in with your NDUS credentials, if prompted)
2. Copy the Installation Password
3. Respondus 4.0 will prompt you to enter the new installation password the first time you open it
4. Check for updates

Help Desk and Card Center Updates

The IT Help Desk and the NDSU Card Center have moved and merged to become the IT Service Center! Here is what this means for you and our students:

1. Walk up and find us in the Quentin Burdick Building (QBB) 206, on the skyway level, for any Bison ID card or other IT-related questions.
2. You can call us at 701.231.8685 or email us at ndsu.itservice@ndsu.edu.  
3. Signs and webpage updates are in process to reflect the changed name. If your units have webpages, signs or handouts that refer to the IT Help Desk or NDSU Card Center, please update them to the IT Service Center. The phone numbers will continue to work and emails will forward to the new account.
