YuJa Video Quizzes

YuJa video quizzes allow instructors to embed questions directly into any video to assess student comprehension and engagement. Quiz scores can be automatically transferred to the Blackboard Gradebook, or instructors may choose to use video quizzes without recording grades.

Please note that students cannot currently use video quizzes as a review tool because they are unable to view their previous responses. However, instructors can enable multiple attempts and include dynamic feedback that students see as they progress through the video quiz.

• Creating a Video Quiz (Question-Based): You can create video quizzes for any uploaded videos.
• Creating a Video Quiz (Watch-Time Percentage-Based): You can make a playback video quiz with any uploaded video.
• Managing an Existing Video Quiz: You can access an existing video quiz through your My Media Collection.
• Manually Syncing Video Quiz Grades to the LMS Grade Book: In some situations, student grades will not automatically sync with the Blackboard Gradebook.
• Sharing Video Quizzes with Another User: Instructors can allow other instructors or TAs to add a quiz to any YuJa video that has been shared with them. Instructors can also share video quiz access with TAs or other users so they can edit an existing YuJa video quiz.
