Watch your email next Monday for your personal pledge link to give to United Way of Cass-Clay.
NDSU’s annual campaign for United Way of Cass-Clay runs Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Nov. 13. This year’s goal is $80,000.
The campaign theme, “We Are One NDSU,” brings the university and United Way of Cass-Clay together as two partners working toward three goals in our community: preventing hunger and homelessness, preparing children to succeed, and strengthening families. Gifts from faculty and staff support local programs that provide shelter, school supplies, weekend meals for kids, and career coaching for parents.
On Oct. 19, United Way of Cass-Clay will email each employee a personal pledge link. You can give a set amount from each paycheck or make a one-time gift, and paper forms, cash, and checks are also accepted. Every contribution, big or small, counts toward the goal, and giving is always voluntary.
The weekly turkey and ham giveaway is also back. New donors who pledge $25 or more and returning donors who increase their pledge are entered into weekly drawings, with winners announced by email each Monday. Once you pledge, your name stays in every remaining drawing, so pledging early gives you more chances to win.
If you would rather give your time, you can volunteer with United Way of Cass-Clay, host a collection in your unit, or share the campaign with friends and family.
Visit the campaign page for the full details, including how to give, giveaway entry rules, what each gift provides, and the campaign video. Questions can go to campaign co-chairs Carin Engler (carin.engler@ndsu.edu) and Audra Hart (audra.hart@ndsu.edu).
