myNDSU Rollout Advances to University and Academic Departments

Posted: 2026-09-27 04:39:54   Expiration: 2026-11-04 04:39:54

The team behind NDSU's new campus engagement platform is turning from student organizations to university and academic departments this fall, as the old myNDSU platform heads toward a Dec. 1 shutdown.

Implementation of myNDSU, the university's new campus engagement platform, is moving into its next phase. Student organizations have completed training on the system, and the myNDSU team is now turning its attention to helping university and academic departments make the switch.

Departments should begin moving their information and pages to myNDSU as soon as possible. The old myNDSU platform will stop accepting new event approvals on Oct. 5, and forms will be deleted from it after that date. The last day to access the old platform will be Dec. 1.

Fixes and Known Issues
  • People uploaded into myNDSU are now being classified correctly as students, faculty or staff. Anyone still listed incorrectly should contact Robert Jones for a correction.

  • Attendance at events can be tracked by typing in names or by having attendees scan a QR code, which requires them to log into myNDSU. NDSU IT is working with the vendor on additional options.

  • Individuals who want to leave myNDSU cannot currently be removed from the system, because of how people are uploaded into it.

Video Resources

Three short videos walk through the new system: an overview of myNDSU, building a roster, and posting events.

More Information
