New Degree Audit Indicator Appears for Undergraduates Nearing Completion

A new positive service indicator now flags undergraduate students who have completed about 70 percent of their degree requirements and prompts them to request an official degree audit.
A new positive service indicator, DAU (Official Degree Audit), is now visible in Campus Connection (as a red star) and in Bison Advise (under Holds) for undergraduate students who have completed approximately 70 percent of their degree requirements. The indicator does not block enrollment activity; students can still add or drop courses while it is in place.
Communication to the Student
When the indicator is first applied to a student's record, the student receives an email at their NDSU email account from the Registration and Records degree analyst tracking their progress toward degree completion.
Action Required: Student Submits a Degree Audit Request
The student submits a Degree Audit Request through Campus Connection: student homepage, NDSU eForms tile, Registration and Records folder, Degree Audit Request.
Degree Audit Notification
Once the request is processed, both the student and the assigned advisor for the primary major receive an email to review the updated Campus Connection Advisement Report for remaining degree requirements, and the service indicator is removed.
