Staff Senate Launches Semester-Long Pop Tab and Spice Competition

Departments compete by collecting pop tabs for the Fargo Ronald McDonald House and spices for the Goods for the Herd campus pantry, with every spice donation counting against a rival department's total.

Staff Senate is hosting a friendly, semester-long competition to benefit the campus and the surrounding community. Every item collected is donated, so departments help two causes while competing against one another. The competition runs [confirm: start and end dates].

How It Works

• Donate pop tabs to help your own department. Pop tabs add to your department's total.
• Donate spices to sabotage another department. Spices subtract from that department's total.
• Winners are determined by per capita totals, so smaller offices compete on even footing with larger ones.

Where the Donations Go

Pop tabs will be donated to the Fargo Ronald McDonald House. Spices will be donated to NDSU Goods for the Herd, the campus pantry.
