Benefited employees and their family members can apply now for Fall 2026 tuition waivers, and all applications with required signatures are due Monday, Aug. 10.

Tuition waiver applications for Fall 2026 are now open for eligible employees and their spouse, partner, and dependents. All required signatures must be completed before the deadline of Monday, Aug. 10, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. The deadline applies to all fall class sessions, regardless of when a class starts.

Submit waivers only through the official application links below. NDSU does not process waivers through GT eForms within PeopleSoft.

Employee Tuition Waivers

Benefited employees are eligible for a waiver of up to three classes per calendar year, from January through December. Courses must be for-credit and can count toward a college degree or a non-degree credit.

  • For courses taken at the campus of employment, regardless of delivery type, the waiver covers 100% of tuition. The employee pays the CND, NDSA, program, and course fees.
  • For courses taken at another NDUS campus, regardless of delivery type, the waiver covers a system-wide fixed 50% of tuition. The employee pays the remaining 50% of tuition and 100% of all fees.
  • Ask your supervisor or department head to provide their approval signature promptly so your application can be processed on time. Employee waivers with missing supervisor signatures will not be routed to HR.

Spouse, Partner, and Dependent Tuition Waivers

The spouse, partner, and dependents of benefited employees are eligible for a 50% waiver of tuition for NDSU for-credit classes. Student signatures from dependents, spouses, or partners are not currently required. Only the employee needs to sign, and the form is then routed to Human Resources.
