Bison Strides Seeks Volunteers for Summer Riding Session

NDSU's equine-assisted services program needs community volunteers to walk alongside riders one hour a week throughout June, and no horse experience is required.

Bison Strides, North Dakota State University's equine-assisted services program, needs additional volunteers for its upcoming four-week summer session. Volunteers walk, and occasionally jog, alongside riders in an arena with a dirt and sand floor to help keep participants safe on their horses.

Volunteers commit to one hour per week from June 1 through June 30. No experience with horses is needed.

When Volunteers Are Needed

• Mondays, 4 to 6 p.m.
• Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• Thursdays, 9 to 11 a.m.
