ASK Focus Group: Connecting Through MS Teams

The ASK Teams Site hosts a virtual focus group on May 27 to share practical ways NDSU employees can use Microsoft Teams for departments, working groups, and day-to-day collaboration.

The ASK Teams Site is hosting a focus group on Wednesday, May 27 at 1 p.m., on how to use Microsoft Teams to organize departments, support working groups, and stay connected with colleagues. The session is open to all NDSU employees and will run via Zoom.

Registration is optional and helps the event land on your calendar. Join the session on Zoom or register in advance.

What to Expect

  • Teams for departments, including building an IT Service Center community, using Teams as a storage repository, and scheduling student employees. Led by IT Service Center Managers Nate Gonser and Colton Holien.
  • Teams for working groups, including the Staff Senate site and the use of channels for subcommittees. Led by Shiloh Susag, Staff Senate President-Elect.
  • Tips from the room on how attendees are already using Teams for meetings, messaging, tagging, and collaboration.
  • Open discussion and questions.

About the ASK Teams Site

The ASK Teams Site is open to all NDSU employees and offers peer support, networking, and resources. Facilitators Wendy Baumann, Sabrina Sanjida Rifa, and Melissa Lamp invite anyone interested in stronger workplace collaboration to join the site through the Teams app.
