Creating Personnel Documents using the SciENcv Common Forms
SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) is a feature within My NCBI designed to help researchers create personnel documents, and is required for those grant submissions that require use of the Common Forms.
The following agencies now utilize the Common Form for Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending Support:
- The National Science Foundation (NSF)
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA)
- The Department of Energy (DOE)
- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
For proposals to these agencies, PIs / PDs and all senior / key personnel will need to use SciENcv to complete and certify their Biosketch and Current and Pending Support documents. The certification includes the following acknowledgements:
- that the information is current, accurate, and complete
- that they have completed (or will complete by the time of application) research security training
- that at the time of submission, they are not a party to a malign foreign talent recruitment program
