Panel Discussion: Academic Writing & ChatGPT

The Writing Program in the Department of English, in collaboration with the Learning and Applied Innovation Center (LAIC), cordially invites all NDSU community members to our panel discussion.

This panel session will present models of assignments and activities that effectively integrate ChatGPT into the writing process while maintaining the need for students to think critically and rhetorically about their choices as writers. Dr. Lisa Arnold, Ben Melby, Alex Rowe (NDSU Writing Program Administrators) and Dr. Daniel Kenzie (Department of Pharmacy Practice) will lead teaching demonstrations and facilitate conversations about how to adapt these models to your unique instructional context. Dr. Amida (Instructional Designer, LAIC) will show additional resources available to NDSU instructors and staff.
