The gear icon below the "Welcome to XM" control the Pinned widgets, Active Surveys, and Workflow summary.  Pinned Widgets (Dashboard widgets), Active Surveys, and your workflows summary all have on or off settings.  That is, you cannot disable only one survey or workflow.

Important notifications can be removed once the project is completed.  

  1. Hover your mouse over the notification to see the three dots to the right.
  2. Remove notification
