PaperCut Departmental User Guide

Visual guide for PaperCut departmental user functions.

Printing

First, send your print job through the new NDSU Departmental Printing queue.

Next, ensure that you are at the login page on the printer. Tap your ID to the card reader or type in your Bison ID (usually firstname.lastname) credentials to authenticate.

Once logged in, choose either "Print all" or the "Print release" option.

If printing a specific job or jobs, select the job(s) that you would like to print, then click "Print" at the bottom right.

Select the funding you would like your print job(s) to charge to. Collect your job when it has completed printing.

If no jobs are showing in the queue, ensure that you are printing to the "NDSU Departmental Printing" option from your computer. If you do not see that option, contact the IT Service Center for assistance.

Copying

Ensure that you are at the log-in page first. Tap your ID to the card reader or type in your Bison ID credentials to authenticate.

Once logged in, select the "Device functions" option.

Choose the funding that you would like to charge your copying job to.

Select "Copier (Classic)" and proceed with your copying job.

NOTE: If Copying/Scanning options are missing, select "PaperCut MF" option, and then select "Device functions" option.
