Learn about the NIH S10 Instrumentation Grant Program

You are invited to attend an informational meeting regarding the National Institutes of Health (NIH) S10 Instrumentation Grant Program.

Program Officers Monika Aggarwal, PhD, and Jeffrey Spector, PhD, will present an overview of the Shared Instrumentation Grant (SIG) and the Seed Instrumentation Support (SIS) Program, including competitive proposal strategies. A panel of faculty awardees will then share their experience and insights with the awards, and all parties will be available for a question-and-answer session. This is a valuable opportunity for faculty planning to submit to the July 1, 2027, deadline.

S10 grants provide support for shared instrumentation and equipment that are typically too expensive to be obtained by an individual investigator. The program enables groups of NIH-supported investigators to acquire or upgrade advanced biomedical research instruments that are broadly shared across an institution, creating new research opportunities, promoting collaborative research and training, and strengthening long-term institutional research capacity.
