What is holding up my protocol?

The most common reason protocols are held up is because of missing requirements, either training or OHS requirements.  To know what's missing, scroll to the Requirements portion of the protocol.  Hover over the blue circle with a question mark, this will let you know which CITI training that individual is missing .  For IACUC protocols, if there is the same blue circle with question mark stating Upload OHS Training, the OHS requirement needs to be checked off.  If they have completed it through the Safety Office, there is no further action needed. If they have not, the supervisor will need to begin the process by completing the Hazard and Risk Assessment form.  This could be the reason your protocol is 'stuck' in pre-submission requirements.  The IACUC administrator does not receive any sort of notification when protocols are in pre-submission requirements.
