What is Consulting?

Any research-related, additional, or outside activity beyond a University employee's institutional responsibilities, professional in nature, and based on the appropriate discipline or area of expertise, for which the employee may receive additional personal remuneration, and where such activities primarily benefit the employee and not the University.
