If there is a green/Ready Training task in the Requirements panel, the PI will receive an auto-generated email that states that someone on the Research team is missing CITI Training.  This could be an internal or an external team member.

For Internal/NDSU research team members:

• Determine if the email addresses in the Novelution profile is the same as the CITI profile.  
• In Novelution, navigate to Profile & Settings >> Edit User Profile >> Primary email.
• In CITI, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen, click Profiles >> Edit Profile >> Your preferred email address.
• Your Primary email (Novelution) and Preferred email (CITI) must match or Novelution will not recognize your CITI Training.
• If you use a non-NDSU email address in CITI, you may also change the field CITI Email Address to list your Preferred email address in CITI to allow the training records to integrate with Novelution.

For External/Non-NDSU research team members:

• External team members must complete the NDSU CITI Training or an equivalent course. A PDF of their CITI Training certificate or completion report must be uploaded into the protocol for the compliance office to verify.
