If a PI receives an award it should be forwarded to SPA. SPA and/or Innovation and Economic Development staff will review each award document for terms and conditions and compare the award amount with the original proposal budget. The PI will be contacted to discuss any differences between the proposal and award amounts - an updated budget or other supporting documents may be requested. If the sponsor does not have an award template, an NDSU agreement template can be provided by SPA.
