All personnel additions / subtractions must be initiated by a Principal or Co-investigator (Co-PI) with Edit access to a research protocol via an amendment. 

Once the amendment has been initiated by the project PI/Co-PI:

• If you do not already have a Novelution profile, you should receive an auto-generated email inviting you to the system.  Follow the instructions in the email to activate your profile.
• Complete the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) process.
• With your PI, complete a training log to reflect procedures and species for which you are currently trained and proficient in.  Upload this document to your Novelution profile.
• Complete applicable online CITI Training courses.
  • Complete one of the following: 
    • Rodent Research Course
    • Working with the IACUC (species other than wildlife or rodents)
    • Wildlife Research Course
    • Extension Agents course (those working in extension - animal use limited to demonstration or exhibition)
  • Complete as species-specific modules as applicable
