This workshop provides a practical overview of how instructors can create engaging course documents in Blackboard Ultra using different content blocks. Participants will learn how documents can be used to organize content, present materials clearly, and support student learning on a single page.

This session will introduce participants to the core tools and best practices for creating documents in Blackboard Ultra. Participants will learn how to use different block types to structure content, add media, and enhance student engagement in a simple and efficient way.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:  

  • Create a document in Blackboard Ultra 

  • Use different document block types (such as content, media, files, and knowledge checks) 

  • Organize content using blocks for clarity and accessibility 

  • Apply basic layout and styling options to improve the learning experience
