Blackboard Course Template: Online

Online templates provide a structure for courses that are taught using a synchronous or asynchronous model.

Online courses are taught using synchronous or asynchronous delivery models. Online asynchronous instruction occurs independently of time or location. Online synchronous instruction occurs independent of location, but at the same time (real-time).

In an online course, you have options about how and when you are learning, however, we strongly recommend that you go through the course sequentially as it is designed for the optimal learning experience. You should aim to complete all topics and work required each week.
