Track Training - Trainer - Roster Management

Use the Roster Management screen to upload training completions for titles tracked in Track Training or to obligate a list of individuals to the training

Warning - the upload feature does not have any undo. Be careful with the files you upload. If you mark an individual as complete, there is not a way for you to remove that completion record. If you obligate an individual, the only way for the training to be removed from their list of obligations is for you to mark the training as completed; there is no un-obligate feature.

Mark an NDSU individual as needing to complete a training title or record a completion

  1. In Track Training, navigate to the Roster Management page
  2. Using Notepad, TextEdit, or some other plain text editor, copy the example upload format to a new file and save it as a CSV (.csv) file with the file name of your choice
  3. Open the CSV file in Excel or other spreadsheet editor to insert data in the appropriate columns, or continue editing data in the text editor being careful to maintain the correct columns. You must not reorder the columns or the upload will fail
  4. Choose File and select the CSV file for upload
  5. Click Upload

This field should be formatted as a string/text so that leading zeroes are preserved
