Google Apps for Education

About this Event

Audience: Faculty and Students

Learning Goal: Using their NDSU Google account to create, store, and share materials.  Students will learn to use Google Apps for Education to facilitate productivity, collaboration, and distribution

Learning Objectives:
  • Learners will begin using Google Drive as a solution for storage, collaboration and distribution of materials. Documents and forms within Drive will be accessed through other programs such as Google Classroom
  • Learners will demonstrate their ability to participate in a Google Classroom environment by joining a class, responding to surveys and questions and submitting assignments from their own Google Drive.  Students will then create their own Google Classroom and invite peer(s) to join their class
  • Learners will demonstrate their ability to use Google Docs effectively by contributing to a collaborative document, creating and sharing their own documents, and submitting a document to an assignment in Google Classroom.
  • Learners will demonstrate effective use of Google Forms by responding to multiple surveys and by creating their own survey/test that they will distribute to their peers
