Zoom Meeting Roles
Below will show you how to change meeting roles in Zoom.
There are several roles available for a Zoom meeting: host, co-host, alternative hosts, and participants. As creator of the meeting, you are designated as the Host.
Host: The user that scheduled the meeting. Has full permissions to manage the meeting. There can only be one host of a meeting.
Co-hosts: Shares most of the controls that hosts have. Co-host can manage the administrative side of the meeting, such as managing attendees. The host can only assign a co-host once the meeting has started, initially the user is a Participant. Co-hosts cannot start a meeting. If a host needs someone else to start the meeting, they can assign an alternative host.
Alternative hosts: Alternative hosts can be assigned before the meeting starts. This can be done when scheduling the meeting, initially, or later by using the edit tool. This type of host has same controls as co-hosts, but can also start the meeting.
Another feature is available if you need to schedule a meeting on behalf of another user, use scheduling privilege.
