1. 1. Login to your PointSolutions account by going through one of your Blackboard courses, then using your Bison Login to login (typically your first.lastname@ndsu.edu).
   2. Select the tab shown below.
      
      
      
      
   3. Under the "Active Courses" section, locate the desired course and click "Select".
      
      
      
      
   4. When starting a session, the session ID will be automatically generated if you do not have a reserved session ID. Students will need this Session ID to join the poll.

Below are the Steps on how to Reserve a Session ID

1. 1. 1. To reserve a session ID, click on the setting icon on the toolbar before running your presentation.
         
         
         
         
      2. Select "+ Add new reserved session ID", and enter your desired ID.
         
         
         
         
      3. Select "Save".
         
         

Back to Running a Poll

1. 1. 1. Go back to the course, go to the "Content" tab, and find one presentation you want to run a poll in. Then click the three dots and select "Start".
         
                  
         
         
      2. A pane named "Live Polling Option" will appear. From the Session ID, choose the Session ID that you created for this poll. Choose any setting you wish to have on the poll. Then click "Start".
         
                  
         
         
      3. A screen displaying the Course Name and Session ID will appear. Select "Start Session".
         
                  
      4. Select "Show Results" and select your desired option for the polling results.
                 Note: The Show Results options can be changed at any time during polling.
         
                
         
         
      5. Select the Play icon to start polling, the Stop icon to stop polling, and the Forward icon to move to the next slide.
         
                
                
                
         
         
      6. Select "End Session" when done. A pane will appear where you can edit the session name. Then click "End".
