MeetMe Rooms - How to Schedule
The following are instructions for scheduling MeetMe Rooms.
- Open a 'New Meeting' window in Outlook.
- Enter a meeting name and specify the meeting start and end time.
- Select the 'Room' menu and search for "NDUS MeetMe" to display all 10 schedulable MeetMe rooms.
- Select one of the MeetMe rooms and send the meeting request.
You can use the 'Scheduling Assistant' to see which rooms are available during your meeting time.
Who Can Connect?
MeetMe Rooms allow participants in videoconference rooms, on their computers or on their phones to call into the connection and collaborate with each other seamlessly. MeetMe Rooms can be reserved by any students, faculty, or staff from any of the North Dakota University System campuses and once the room is reserved, participants from outside NDUS can also join the meeting. Simply send them the link, phone number or IP address from the reservation confirmation you received during booking.
What Else Do I Need to Know?
The reservation confirmation you will receive via email once you have reserved your MeetMe Room will contain all needed connection information. If you are used to having your videoconference room connect automatically to your calls, please be aware that with a MeetMe Room connection you will need to dial into the call from your room system. It will not connect automatically. Simply go to 'Place a Call' on your Polycom system when your meeting is scheduled to start and enter the MeetMe Room number (1412001...1412010) for the room you have reserved.
