SharePoint - Access Team Site

Follow the instructions below depending on whether you are the owner of a Team Site or if you've been granted permission to access a Team Site.

If you are the owner of the site

  1. Open a Web browser, and then enter your Team Site URL into the address bar
  2. If prompted, log in using your NDSU email username (typically Firstname.Lastname@ndus.edu) address and N.D. University System ID password
  3. Click Follow in the upper right corner to add your Team Site to the list of sites you follow 
    • NOTE: After you follow a site, you can access that site by logging in to your Office 365 account and clicking Sites. The site will appear under Sites I'm following.

If you've been granted permission to a team site

  1. Open the email you receive from the Team Site owner
  2. Click Home.aspx
  3. If prompted, log in using your NDSU email username (typically Firstname.Lastname@ndus.edu) address and N.D. University System ID password
  4. Click Follow in the upper right corner to add your Team Site to the list of sites you follow 
    • NOTE: After you follow a site, you can access that site by logging in to your Office 365 account and clicking Sites. The site will appear under Sites I'm following.
