NEW Blackboard Ultra Project Information
Introduction
We are excited to announce the transition to Blackboard Ultra, a next-generation learning management system designed to enhance our educational experience. Blackboard Ultra offers a modern, streamlined interface, improved performance, and new features that support innovative teaching and learning practices. For more information please check out the NDSU Ultra Transition Brief Overview Video(5:17) video.
Transition to Ultra
If you are new or currently using Ultra to teach a course, would like to request your course(s) to be converted or a sandbox, please submit an IT Service Center ticket. Please select Course/Class Issue for your Issue Type, then select Ultra Course Conversion in the sub-field, and list all Blackboard course ID's or request a sandbox.
Download and follow the Checklist for moving from Original to Ultra to ensure a smooth transition to Ultra. This checklist provides step-by-step guidance on preparing your course for Ultra, copying content, setting up your course materials etc.
Courses Converted to Ultra
Once an instructor has converted a course to Ultra, that course will remain in Ultra even if a new instructor takes over teaching that course as NDSU is transitioning all courses to Ultra.
