The following list includes workshop sessions that are offered by the Instructional Design Center (IDC). You may request sessions from this list or contact us to discuss your specific training needs.
CMS (TYPO3) - Beginner Basics: Learners will be able to navigate CMS (TYPO3), understand its core components, and develop basic pages and page content.
CMS (TYPO3) - Intermediate: Learners will be able to insert page content like images, YouTube videos, multiple column tables, section index, etc.
CMS (TYPO3) - Advanced: Learners will be able to insert page content like hero banner, left-side menu, button, etc.
Excel 1: For Beginners Only: Learners will gain familiarity with the Excel environment and some of the basic tasks it can perform.
Excel 2: Data Analysis with Sorts, Filters, Formatting, Pivot Tables, and Pivot Charts: Learners will use Excel to organize, analyze and display data in different ways.
Adobe Illustrator: Getting Started: Learners will have a basic understanding of the workspace, tools, and panels.
Adobe Photoshop: Getting Started: This workshop will introduce the work area and common tools for selection and basic photo correction. You will also be introduced to working with layers.
Thesis Formatting Session 1 and Session 2: Graduate students will be able to identify and fix common problems in long word documents such as Thesis or Dissertations.
Improve Accessibility of Your Digital Files: Learners will gain a deeper understanding of how to improve the accessibility of documents including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF files.
