Student Employment - NDSU Card Center Student Associate
Hours Per Week: Minimum 20 hours/week during Summer | Minimum 10 hours/week during Fall/Spring terms
Starting Wage: $16.75/hour
Reports To: Wendy McCrory
NOTE: This is an hourly student position - no GA contract options available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with making the NDSU ID Card
- Log card production and passport production in our tracking system to balance accounts receivable
- The highest level of confidentiality will be maintained, consultant will have access to privileged information that is strictly governed by university policies and other state and federal laws
- Balance accounts receivable, record data, and reconcile daily deposits
- Maintain a high-level of professionalism and perform other duties as directed or assigned by management
- Maintains duties for credit card sales reporting, billing and billing questions. Provide office management of the card center when full-time staff is not present.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic working knowledge of computers
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current NDSU undergraduate student: enrolled
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in troubleshooting
- Developed skills as a self-starter with time management skills
- Desire to work summer to fall/spring terms
- Knowledge of campus buildings and technology used at NDSU
