Honorlock- Student Information
Getting Started
Before your exam, ensure you are using a Windows or Mac computer with the Google Chrome browser and the Honorlock extension installed. Log into Chrome with your @NDSU account and complete any recommended system checks. Prepare a quiet, well-lit space with a stable internet connection, and have your student or government-issued ID ready for verification. Follow all instructor instructions provided in Blackboard before starting your exam. To view Honorlock's minimum system requirements, click the Run System Check link.
To begin your exam, log into Blackboard, navigate to your course, and select the exam link. Click Begin when prompted, install or enable the Honorlock extension if needed, and complete the identity verification and any required room scan. Once verification is complete, your exam will launch in a secure, proctored environment.

- Honorlock Protects Privacy website - review privacy information. Honorlock only records during your exam session and securely stores data. It monitors webcam activity, screen behavior, and audio. The system has been reviewed and approved according to NDUS Policy 840.
