Description/overview

This session explores the AI Design Assistant, a tool that brings generative AI capabilities directly into Blackboard Ultra. Participants will learn how to use the AI Design Assistant to auto-generate course structure, integrate images, and create assessment components like assignments, rubrics, test questions, question banks, discussion prompts, and journal prompts.  

Intended Audience

Faculty, Course Builders, Graduate Teaching Assistants, Organization Leaders, Adjunct Instructors 

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain what the AI Design Assistant is and how it can assist instructors in course design within Blackboard Ultra 

  • Demonstrate how to use AI-Generated Course Structure and AI Image Integration 

  • Create assessments such as assignments, rubrics, test questions, question banks, discussion prompts, and journal prompts with help from the AI-Generated tool
