How to Add the NDSU Course Experience Survey Link - Blackboard Original and Ultra
If you deleted the NDSU Course Experience Link in your Blackboard Course, follow these instructions to add the link back in your course.
The NDSU Course Experience Survey is linked to your course automatically when it was first created. However, if the survey link is accidentally deleted, the steps to add it back in and are different for Blackboard Original and Blackboard Ultra. Please follow the appropriate steps below for your course view.
Blackboard Original
How to Add the NDSU Student Course Experience Survey Link for Your Students.
Follow these steps to add the NDSU Student Course Experience Survey link into your course:
- Log into blackboard and open your course.
- In your course, locate the plus sign (+) in the top middle of your left side menu.
- Click the plus sign (+) to open a menu, then select Tool Link from the available options.
- In the "Type" dropdown, scroll down and select NDSU Student Course Experience Survey from the list.
- Enter the name "NDSU Course Experience Survey" in the "Name" field.
- Click the box to make it Available to Users so that students can access the link.
- Once you have set up the link, click Submit to save your changes.
- The survey link will appear at the bottom of the course menu.

Follow these steps to add the NDSU Student Course Experience Survey link to your course:
- Log into blackboard and open your course.
- Go to the "Content" tab in the course content area and select the plus sign (+) icon in the location you would like the NDSU Student Course Experience Survey Link to appear.
- Click on Content Market from the available options.
- Scroll down to find the NDSU Course Experience Survey and click on the plus sign (+) next to it.
- This survey link will now appear in the location you selected of your content area.
