The Equal Opportunity and Title IX Compliance office provides guidance related to Mandated Reporting responsibilities for academic research approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).  Academic research studies approved by the IRB are not subject to mandated reporting requirements under NDSU Policy 156 - Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Compliant Procedures. More details on the scope of this exemption can be found here.
