Blackboard Ultra Project Information
Introduction
We are excited to announce the transition to Blackboard Ultra, a next-generation learning management system designed to enhance our educational experience. Blackboard Ultra offers a modern, streamlined interface, improved performance, and new features that support innovative teaching and learning practices. Ultra Transition Departmental Training Plan
The Instructional Design Center will provide four-week blocks of live sessions that combine course design and Ultra training. Each block may contain several departments depending on the department's size.
Session 1: Simple Course Design, Accessibility, and Introduction to Ultra
Session 2: Assessments: Tests & Assignments
Session 3: Collaboration - Groups & Student Engagement
Session 4: Gradebook Management Part 1 & 2
Training: Four 50-minute live training sessions over Zoom. Recordings and online resources (KB articles, short videos, etc.) will be shared with each group. Open office hours will be available for assistance each week.

All training blocks are based on individual departments' commitment to a blocked time. To reserve a block time, submit a Request for Service and complete the form. Search for Blackboard Ultra Department Conversion.
