1. What Blackboard Learn Original question types are supported in Respondus 4.0?

All except Hot Spot questions are supported. These can be added in Blackboard Learn Original after publishing the test.

2. What does Respondus 4.0 cost?

Absolutely nothing. License costs are paid by the NDSU Information Technology Division.

3. Who can use Respondus 4.0?

NDSU Faculty, adjunct instructors, staff, and Teaching Assistants.

4. Can I legally install Respondus 4.0 on more than one computer?

Yes. Respondus can be installed on as many computers as necessary.

5. Do I need to renew the Respondus 4.0 license each year to continue using it?

Yes. The license code changes and must be renewed by July 31 each year. See Respondus 4.0 - Download/Installation Instructions for the new license code and update instructions.

6. Can Respondus 4.0 be installed on Macintosh computers?

Respondus 4.0 can only be used with a Windows operating system. Mac users can install it using a virtual environment - Respondus 4.0 Campus-wide in a virtual environment on Macintosh systems

7. Can images embedded in test questions be imported to Respondus 4.0?

Yes. Images embedded in the test file will import successfully. Respondus 4.0 also includes an image editor so images can be added to questions via Respondus as well.

8. Can students use Respondus 4.0?

No. There is no functionality students can use, unless they are acting as a Teaching Assistant creating/adding tests to a Blackboard Learn Original course.
