VoiceThread FAQs for Instructors

    1.  How do I create a VoiceThread?

• From the course Content area, click on 'Tools' at the top of your screen
• Select VoiceThread-NDSU in the drop-down list, and click 'More Tools' to see VoiceThread
• On the new window, provide a 'Link Name' and a description (include attachments using the Text Editor)
• Scrolling down to other options like 'Make Available', 'Track Number of Views', 'Date Restrictions'
• Click on Submit.

    3.  How do I record comments on the VoiceThread?

    4.  How do I create an assignment?

• Go to your Blackboard Learn Original Course> Create Content > Select VoiceThread-NDSU in tools.
• On a VoiceThread page type a name, and a description, and/or attach a file if you want to.
• Select Yes and add the possible points in the Grading tab.
• Go to the content you just created to start building your assignment using assignment builder and select Create.

    5.  How to set up a VoiceThread comment assignment?

• Go to your Blackboard Learn Original Course> Create Content > Select VoiceThread-NDSU in tools.
• On a VoiceThread page type a name, a description and/or attach a file if you want to.
• Select Yes and add the possible points in the Grading tab.
• Go to the content you just created to start building your assignment using the assignment builder and select Comment.

• Go to your Blackboard Learn Original course > Select the assignment
• This will take you to the VoiceThread NDSU. Select Start assignment.
