Telephone Headsets
Below are the supported and compatible headsets used with telephones at NDSU.
Compatible and supported headsets can be ordered from the Bookstore.
Wired Headsets
- EncorePro 520 (over the head both ears) compatible with analog, digital, ip
- EncorePro 510 (over the head one ear) compatible with analog, digital, ip
- Recommended settings:
- Analog: config 5
- J129 & J179: configuration switch A, speaking vol 2, listening vol 2
- Additional accessories
- M22 Amplifier - Required with the EncorePro 520 and EncorePro 510 for the basic analog and J129 phones
- HIS cord - Required with the EncorePro 520 and EncorePro 510 for the J179 and 9611 phones
Wireless Headsets
- CS520-XD Plantronics Wireless Headset System (over both ears) compatible with analog, digital, ip
- CS540-SD Plantronics Wireless Headset System (comes with two options over head for one ear or just over one ear) compatible with analog, digital, ip
- Recommended settings:
- Configuration switch A, Speaking and Listening Vol 2
- Additional accessories
- EHC/APV-63 Electronic Hook switch Cable (replaces the lifter) (for use on multiline sets only) J179 and 9611 - This allows the user to answer calls without lifting the handset.
- Plantronics On-Line Indicator Light - Lets others know when you're on the phone.
