Blackboard Course Template: Collaborative/Constructivist

Collaborative/constructivist templates provide a structure for courses that are taught using a teaching and learning model focused on students constructing knowledge based on sharing and learning from past and new experiences.

Template with guided recommendations:

Collaborative learning experiences are active, social, contextual, engaging, and student-owned leading to deeper learning. These types of courses, generally, include group work projects, working in pairs, discussions, and problem-solving.

In a Collaborative course, you have options about how and when you are learning, however, we strongly recommend that you go through the course sequentially as it is designed for the optimal learning experience.
